So, the Winter Season comes to an end and after a safe (yet smart) week’s betting it’s no surprise there was little change in the standings.
Daniel Christopher managed to fend off all on-comers and hold onto the number one spot for what seemed like an eternity. It’s only fitting then that he scored a final week Maximum Scoring Week to officially seal the deal! So ladies, gentlemen; please put your hands together for the Winter Season winner:
DANIEL CHRISTOPHER!!!!
Crowe tried to play a wild card in the Price of Glory match and in the end it saw him miss out on a Maximum Scoring Week but it wouldn’t have mattered as he safely takes second place this season.
Now retired, at least Evolution J can be happy that Khris Young didn’t swipe away third place too as like Crowe, EJ also narrowly missed out on a MSW. Young however impressed and even with one week’s less activity, he still managed to come within 1 point of getting into the medal positions by getting the week’s SECOND MSW!
Nick Daniels failed to show this week so missed out on any points and had Scorpion not done the same as Crowe and took a wildcard runner up for the PoG match, Daniels would’ve seen himself drop into sixth as Scorpion would’ve taken fifth on a MSW advantage.
Similar can be said about Toast who also failed to get any predictions in and like Scorpion, Sir Owen Gyles narrowly missed out on the big points, but at least he can be happy he was the only man who managed to get his predictions in before the Friday deadline, maximising the points scored to 3 per correct guess.
Finally, sitting in last place is Jackson Havok and – after only one week’s participation, what would you expect? He sits in ninth place with a measly 2 points and won’t be continuing onto the Spring League.
I’d like to give a massive thank you to everyone who participated and I hope to see this kind of dedication continue on and remember, you don’t need to be an active RP’er to play, just submit your predictions when the thread goes live and you’re in!
Points will be reset to ZERO and the Spring Season will start at the next edition of Counter Strike!!!
Thank You, goodnight!
Andrew.
