Toast is in his car, driving to an interview, to talk about Counter Strike this week. Toast enters the UWA headquarters where Stevenson is already waiting they go to a private room and Amy sets up the cameras and recorders.
Amy: Well Toast, I would like to first congratulate you on an awesome show, I mean you really needed to step it up and you delivered. I don’t know to many men that just walk into the UWA and become as popular as you have in such a short time. You really turned a lot of people's heads during your Deathmatch Title reign and in your Toastcore Invitational Match and made a lot of people see what you can do, care to elaborate on your match this week with Sean Powers?
Toast: Well, first I want to say that Price of Glory will go down as being one of the best Pay Per Views I have ever been involved with. I mean as soon as the first match begun, the atmosphere was going through the roof. Sure, the first match was a brutal match that ended in complete shock for the fans, just like I knew it was going to. I really have to hand it to Bahir and Kenji though, that was an intense match and both guys really put on a great show to prove who was the better man. Then one of my previous amigos, Evolution J went one on one with Khris Young for the World title which was a really fast paced match that ended in a lot of action. Even the Gauntlet was one of the best matches I have ever seen, possibly even better than the original! Glacier, being another person that has been a friend in the past, really pulled one out and almost won the entire thing, if it weren't for The Scorpion. Then it was my match, the match that I had been waiting for, the match that I knew was going to come. The match where I actually had to put everything on the line to prove to people that I knew I could win, and I failed. By the end of the match, I had promised to my fans that I would win it, and I didn't even come close to doing that. To say that I was devastated would be an understatement, but it was something that I had to give my all. I had promised a grueling match, it was a damn grueling match. Well, I also proved something else to everyone, I proved that Toast is not just a comedy act. People can laugh and have fun WITH me, but no one can ever laugh AT me again. The men in the Last Chance Match knew that I was the better man and Scorpion used a BLATANT unsportsmanlike maneuver to win. The thing that made Scorpion do is is that he couldn’t get into my head. See, Scorp thought that he could get into my head, and he failed, that's why he had to use a cheap, quick finish to get himself towards that World title that I have been wanting since I came into the UWA. HE knew he couldn’t match up to me and it scared him far too much for him to take any other chances.
Amy: So you have respect for everyone in the UWA with the exception of Scorpion? People in the UWA are behind Scorpion one hundred percent and they're calling him the next World Heavyweight Champion. Can't you give the man a little respect? He not only won the Last Chance Match but he also went on win the Gauntlet too, causing your former partner Glacier to lose his chance at the number one contendership too! Can't you give the man credit and say that he's the better man, even if it is for the moment?
Toast: I would never go as far as to put a man's career on the line. Wrestling is all fine and good, but not when it is taking to the point of madness. I can assure you Amy, I would have never cheated in such a heinous way! I would never ever do anything like that, I'm a "babyface" to the end!
Amy: Alright, I'll take your word for it Toast. I mean you seem like a really nice guy and I know that the fans will be pleased just to hear that you're back in the UWA and taking things a little more seriously. I just hope it's not too seriously, since the fans have been clammoring for more of the crazy, zany things that you have become well-known for.
Toast: Thanks Amy, that really means a lot. I can assure everyone that not only am I "back" to my fun-loving self, but I also have a new focus and new drive and a new passion about the UWA. I want Texas Championship Title, and now that I am scheduled to take on Sean Powers this week for it, I think that it just might be my time to shine again, with some gold around my waist!
Amy: That is great to hear! Online betting and even the UWA forums have been alive with spectulation on the outcome of the Texas Title match. Do you think you can keep your energy wild and unpredictable for your next match? If you have not already heard, there are rumors that your Texas Title match with Sean Powers may wind up being the last time we see the original Texas Title, that there may be a newly revealed Texas Title look to come. In addition, your match isn't just a regular match, this match is a Texas Deathmatch! How do you feel about that revelation?
Toast: This is going to be an incredible experience for me and Sean Powers. I hope to continue my winning ways by taking this match and title home. Both of us have something in common, we had something happen to us at Price of Glory that could have ended our dreams. I mean Powers was in the Gauntlet match, those matches are always nerve-wracking to watch because you know that someone's career could end in one wrong move with all of the disorganized chaos that is happening in that ring with so many people there. But Powers is one of those kind of men that has a huge amount of talent, and I am going to have to take that into consideration while training. Both of us have very good moves that can put people away very quickly, nobody can afford to make any mistakes or mess up any move. This match is going to be a war of skill and power and good old fashioned wrestling. To quote a great of wrestler of my time “ The name of the game is wrestling, that’s what we do best.” I believe that Powers and I will make this match is an unbelievable main event and we're both going to pull out the stops and make this a match that everyone will remember for a long time to come. I respect Sean Powers, he's been a consistent, dedicated guy who has shown to be a very good Texas champion. I know what he can do and I know what he has done and he is very impressive. I know that no matter what I do, I will probably never be able to match up with what he has done in his career... but I will sure try my best and I am not going to give up without a fight. I realize that the fans think that he is a complete ass at times, bu they also think of me the same way. However, when the dust settles, I know that it will be either me or him standing with our hand raised. I know that he is a very good wrestler and I am going to have to put everything on the line to keep up with him, but he is going to have to do things that he has never thought of doing in order to keep up with me. I sincerely hope that I can take him out, because I know that I am able to beat him and I am going to try like hell to make sure that he is at his top form. Powers is what makes this match hard for me and I know by doing whatever I can to bring him down, that I can be the only man standing.
Amy: Well, Toast it sounds like you know what you are going to do and how you are going to do it. I, and all of the UWA fans, just hope that you prepare yourself enough for this match. I want to know what kind of mind frame you think you need for this match?
Toast: Amy, in order for me to win this match, I need to know many things. I need to know that I have studied all of Powers' matches well enough to make things go my way. I want to know Sean’s every move. I want to know what makes him tick and what move he is going to try before he even tries it. I want to know what moves I am going to use and how I am going to use them. I have come to the conclusion that wrestling is almost fifty percent mental and fifty percent physical. The thing I have always had pride in, is for having an unbelievable attitude and mind frame before every match. I like to be prepared and I think I know what it's going to take for me to win this one. It is going to be a very fast-paced match with Sean being in a very tough situation. While it may seem like Sean is ready for this match, ready for whatever comes, he hasn't seen me this fired up before. I can see the result of this match, me standing over Sean as I rise the Texas Title above my head after winning one of the most intense matches of my life. It's going to be tough one way or another, but I think I can do it.
Amy: Toast... it sounds like you are ready! This could possibly become one of the best matches the UWA has ever seen. This is going to be a match to remember and a match to watch, without a doubt!
Toast nods his head in agreement with Amy.
Amy: Thanks Toast for coming down in such short notice.
Toast: Oh don’t worry about it. It's always fun to get it all out in the open, it makes it all more entertaining for not only myself and Sean, but also for the fans watching at home. Thanks for having me here!
The scene now fades out to black.
